Pain de Mie is what the French call their usual white toast bread. The bread resembles Japanese milk bread and has a bit of sweetness to it. PAINDEMIE started in corona times out of nostalgia and pure love for this bread.
At Paindemie this bread is the star of the menu. We serve awesome smash burgers, toasties and French toast. Our burger meat is quite unique since we serve delicious Dutch goat meat. All our sauces and condiments are homemade, even the yellow mustard and the bloody ketchup!

Welcome at PAINDEMIE’s lil’ speakeasy bar! Feel fancy and try one of our amazing bar specials like the Toastie d’Escargot, Caviar or the Goat Tenderloin on Pain de Mie toast. Get yourself a delicious cocktail, choose a juicy natural wine from our extensive wine list or try one of our exquisite sake’s. We got the tunes.
