This summer,  PAINDEMIE⁠ transforms into the temporary home of one of Tokyo’s most talked-about concepts: VIRAL JAPANESE BAKERY.

 

Straight from the streets of Tokyo, Japan — born in the heart of the Shibuya Prefecture district — VIRAL JAPANESE BAKERY arrives in Amsterdam for a limited summer pop-up inside PAINDEMIE. Known for absurdly over-the-top lunch proof Japanese sandos,  pain de mie bread, matcha overloads, cream sodas and internet-breaking bakery creations, the cult concept finally lands at Kinkerstraat 122 for a short and chaotic residency.

 

During the summer pop-up, VIRAL BAKERY will take over the downstairs area of PAINDEMIE every Wednesday until Sunday, serving lunch from 11:00 until 16:30. Expect fluffy pain de mie, fried sandos, ice cream sandwiches, honey butter toast, matcha drinks and the kind of food that looks like it escaped directly from your TikTok algorithm.
