Pain de Mie is what the French call their usual white toast bread. The bread resembles Japanese milk bread and has a bit of sweetness to it. PAINDEMIE started in corona times out of nostalgia and pure love for this bread.
At Paindemie this bread is the star of the menu. We serve awesome smash burgers, toasties and French toast. Our burger meat is quite unique since we serve delicious Dutch goat meat. All our sauces and condiments are homemade, even the yellow mustard and the bloody ketchup!

Welcome at PAINDEMIE’s lil’ speakeasy bar! Feel fancy and try one of our amazing bar specials like the Toastie d’Escargot, Caviar or bone marrow on Pain de Mie toast. Get yourself a delicious cocktail or try one of our exquisite sake’s. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays we don’t take reservations between 17.00 and 22.00 for the bar — it’s walk-ins only. However, we do accept reservations for our new concept, MOYŌ, where we serve an exclusive omakase-style Wagyu and Toro menu.
